Acoustic Board

Acoustic Board is an Acoustic Slat MDF Panel that has been customized with a UV-printed image. It consists of vertical slats (stripes) mounted on a felt backing.

How it Works

  • Sound Absorption: The black background you see behind the slats is usually a PET polyester felt. This material is porous and absorbs sound waves, reducing echoes and "reverb" in a room.
  • Diffusion: The vertical slats break up sound waves so they don't bounce directly back at you, making the room sound clearer.

Key Features of Acoustic Board

  • Aesthetic Appeal: Unlike plain acoustic foam, this looks like high-end furniture or art. The Buddha design makes it suitable for meditation rooms, living rooms, or spas.
  • Material: The slats are typically made from MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with a wood veneer or a laminate finish.
  • Easy Installation: These panels are usually lightweight and can be screwed directly into the wall or glued using construction adhesive.
